Recently I was just doing some late night computer work and listening to Grassy Hill Radio on the net when your song "When you forgot to hide" came on. I was very touched. You have such a unique and beautiful voice. I found you web site, and listened to the other songs you have available there. I love all music, but folk has a special place in my heart, and your music and voice certainly makes it very easy to find that place.

Hi Laurie!
Your concert w. John Christian at Meadowlark Coffee next to Open Harvest was, as always, just wonderful and so relaxing! I really enjoyed myself and wished Carol hadn't needed to work. Always love to come to your performances for so many reasons. I thought it was really kind of you to do a benefit for the Rape Spouse Abuse Center. I hope a generous helping donation was made as a result.
I got your compliation and double Purple moon CDs at the concert, in part bc Carol couldn't be there. We love the CDs (surprise) :) We have heard Dar's own performance 'When I was a Boy' and quite frankly, we prefer your performance as odd as that may seem. I find your music to be spiritual and healing.
The above characterizations are in part why I checked out your website. A good friend is in the hospital and I was hoping I could arrange to have your CDs sent their way.
Thank you so much for your work! We appreciate your influence.

Laurie
It was good to see you. When you get back please make sure you let me know so we can come listen to you play. Also, it would be great to sit and have a cup of coffee and catch up if you have the time when you get back.
Will be looking forward to hearing from you soon. Jinnohn :0}

Hi Laurie -- I got to see you perform at Wooly's house in Lincoln this summer. You were wonderful. I was bummed I missed you the last time you were in town. I thought maybe I would get on your e-mail list so that I would have better notice for the future. Congratulations on being chosen by the ISC to represent at the Rockrgrl conference. That kicks ass!

I "stumbled" upon your music....boy, am I glad I did. Your voice and music is soothing to the soul and a refreshing difference to listen to.

Thanks for staying true to your heart and your childhood dream of being a singer.

Hi Laurie! I'm not surprised I found you on the internet and to find that you have achieved your dreams. You were an inspiration to so many people with your drive and belief in yourself. I'm so happy to see you have made it and found happiness to boot!

I am living in Germany with Jamie (J-Bird) and her husband and children. We are scheduled to return to the states next June, but I may stay here to work at the American Hospital for a few years. I really like Europe.

Please drop a line when you have some time Sweetie. I would love to hear from you. The pictures are wonderful! I almost cried.

Peace and Love,
Helen (Kitty)

Hey, the place looks pretty snazzy! I don't know if you noticed it but it was getting kinda dowdy...there was a film on the windows and dead flies on the sills. But now, mymymy, it's all fresh and...and...artsy!

Now, we need to Work on getting you some different wheels...you gotta image to maintain don'tjano? I know where you can find this cherry '69 microbus and there's this stoner in LA that could give it just what it needs to make it stand out...parked or moving, people would know you had arrived!

Well, we're lookin' for you to hit town and I'll be guarding the Latte machine soas they won't be firing it up during any of your songs...them low-bred knuckleheads have no culture, I tell you.

Hi Laurie,
Great new design! Love the new photo...
Hard to believe you've been in Nashville *eight* years. I'll never forget your Zoo Bar going-away with Katie...
I'll be adding a line on my personal invitation to NADP Annual about your cameo appearance at the dinner... I'll drop you a line after our meeting Wednesday, just to confirm.
Thanks for the new e-mail and link. I'll pass that along as well.
It's always great to have your precious magical energy back in town, even if only for a few days.
Peace and Love,
Mj
